Your Role: - Plan, organize, and oversee recreational programs and activities that meet the physical, mental, and social needs of residents
- Develop monthly activity calendars and ensure a variety of engaging programs are provided
- Encourage resident participation while fostering a supportive, inclusive environment
- Coordinate with staff, volunteers, and outside community resources to enhance programming
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Ensure activities comply with safety standards and promote resident well-being
- Perform other duties as assigned by management in a resident-centered care environment
Who We're Looking For: - Experience in activity planning, recreation therapy, or a related field (NCCAP certification a plus)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A creative, energetic, and caring personality
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a long-term care setting
- Passion for enriching the lives of residents through meaningful engagement
